2. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- The author submitting the work must be registered for the event. Payment is not required at the time of registration and may be completed after the acceptance of the abstract is announced.
- Title, authors, institutions, and compliance information must be provided in the specific fields available in the submission form.
- Abstracts must be submitted as a Word file (.doc/.docx), formatted in Arial font, size 12, double-spaced. The file must include title, text, tables/figures, and references. Do not include author information in the document.
- Abstracts must contain up to 350 words and up to 6 tables/figures. Title and authors are not included in the word count. References are not counted toward the word limit and must be included in the same file.
- Maximum of 10 (ten) authors per submission.
- The submitted file must not include authors’ names, institutions, or any other identifying information. Failure to comply will result in automatic and definitive exclusion from evaluation.
All approved works will be presented as electronic posters during the event, including those selected for oral presentation, and will be published on the SOBRICE website.

3. REVIEW PROCESS
Each submitted abstract will be evaluated separately by 5 (five) intervention radiologists who are members of SOBRICE. To calculate the final score for this stage, a simple average of the 3 (three) intermediate scores will be used; that is, the highest and lowest scores will be disregarded in the calculation.
For papers in the Clinical Study and Experimental Study categories, the score from this first evaluation phase will account for 60% of the final score. The 10 papers with the highest scores will be selected for oral presentation in a dedicated session. During the presentation, the papers will undergo further evaluation by a panel of full-member interventional radiologists of Sobrice, and the score from this phase will account for 40% of the final score.
The 3 highest-rated papers in the “Case Report” category and the 3 highest-rated papers in the “Case Series and Educational Review” category will be presented in a dedicated session at the conference.
