2. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

• The author submitting the work must be registered for the event. Payment is not required at the time of registration and may be completed after the acceptance of the abstract is announced.
• Title, authors, institutions, and compliance information must be provided in the specific fields available in the submission form.
• Abstracts must be submitted as a Word file (.doc/.docx), formatted in Arial font, size 12, double-spaced. The file must include title, text, tables/figures, and references. Do not include author information in the document.
• Abstracts must contain up to 350 words and up to 6 tables/figures. Title and authors are not included in the word count. References are not counted toward the word limit and must be included in the same file.
• Maximum of 10 (ten) authors per submission.
• The submitted file must not include authors’ names, institutions, or any other identifying information. Failure to comply will result in automatic and definitive exclusion from evaluation.

All approved works will be presented as electronic posters during the event, including those selected for oral presentation, and will be published on the SOBRICE website.

3. REVIEW PROCESS

Each abstract will be independently evaluated by five board-certified interventional radiologists who are full members of SOBRICE. For the final score calculation, a simple average of the three intermediate scores will be used, excluding the highest and lowest scores. This first evaluation phase will account for 60% of the final score.

The best abstracts will be selected for oral presentation in a dedicated session at the congress:

• 10 in the Clinical Study / Experimental Study category
• 3 in the Case Report category
• 3 in the Case Series / Educational Review category

During the presentation, the selected works will undergo a second evaluation by a panel of SOBRICE member interventional radiologists. This phase will account for 40% of the final score.

The highest-ranked work in each study area will be selected for oral presentation in a dedicated congress session. If the top-ranked work in a given area has already been selected within its category, the next highest-ranked work will be considered.
