Pinacoteca

The Pinacoteca is a visual arts museum, with a strong focus on Brazilian artistic production from the 19th century to the present day. It promotes a variety of cultural events and maintains an active publication program, always offering a diverse range of exhibitions. It is located in Jardim da Luz, in the downtown area of São Paulo.

Museum of the Portuguese Language

The Museum of the Portuguese Language is one of the first museums entirely dedicated to a language. It features a large exhibition space that explores not only the evolution of the Portuguese language, but also its influences, including its role in shaping cultural identity. It offers a variety of experiences and innovative installations, allowing visitors to appreciate the cultural diversity of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries, different vocabularies, the history of the language, and much more.

Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM (visitors may stay until 6:00 PM).

Liberdade Neighborhood

A large red torii arch marks the entrance to Liberdade, where the streets are decorated with lanterns. The gastronomic options include bars, restaurants, and typical Japanese, Chinese, and Korean food stalls. Gift shops and supermarkets offer a wide variety of Asian cultural products, while the Liberdade Street Fair, held on Sundays, features accessories and handicrafts.





Itaú Cultural Institute

The Itaú Cultural Institute maps artistic expressions and encourages research and artistic and theoretical production related to a wide range of cultural segments. It features spaces for exhibitions, performing arts and music presentations, an auditorium for courses and seminars, a library, and much more. The Itaú Cultural also holds thousands of documents, books, films, journals, CDs, and DVDs that record the artistic evolution of the country, which are available for loan or on-site consultation.

São Paulo Museum of Art (MASP)

The São Paulo Museum of Art (MASP) is one of the city’s most important cultural institutions. In addition to hosting diverse exhibitions and holding a collection of thousands of works by artists such as Monet, Picasso, Di Cavalcanti, among many others, the museum is also notable for its architectural design, conceived by Lina Bo Bardi.

The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

On free admission days (every Tuesday and the first Thursday of each month), the physical ticket office remains closed and tickets must be reserved exclusively online. On other days (Wednesday to Sunday), the ticket office operates from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.




Catavento Museum

The Catavento Museum, a science and technology museum under the Secretariat of Culture, Economy, and Creative Industries of the State of São Paulo, aims to bring children, young people, and adults closer to the world of science. It seeks to spark curiosity and convey basic knowledge and social values through interactive and engaging exhibitions, using simple and accessible language.

Butantan Institute

For over a century, the Butantan Institute has been researching, developing, manufacturing, and supplying products and services for public health. It is the largest producer of vaccines and sera in Latin America, the leading producer of immunobiologicals in Brazil, and a global reference in efficiency and quality. It maintains zoological scientific collections and develops educational and cultural activities through four museums—Biological Museum, Historical Museum, Microbiology Museum, and the Public Health Museum Emílio Ribas—linked to the Butantan Science Park.

The museums are open for visits until 4:45 PM.
Admission to the Butantan Science Park is free of charge.
To visit the Biological Museum, Vaccine Museum, Microbiology Museum, and Historical Museum – Espaço Terra Firme, it is necessary to purchase tickets in person at the ticket office and present them at the entrance of each attraction.
Tickets can be purchased until 4:00 PM. Museums are open for visitation until 4:45 PM.

São Paulo Zoo

The zoo hosts a wide variety of amphibians, birds, invertebrates, reptiles, and mammals. It also offers a night tour experience, providing the opportunity to observe nocturnal animals and learn about their behavior, such as felines, snakes, owls, and others. This activity is not included in the standard zoo admission ticket and must be purchased separately.

Paulista Avenue

Paulista Avenue is one of the symbols of the city of São Paulo. In addition to its strong business vocation and its famous bike lane, it stands out as one of the city’s main cultural hubs. Ibirapuera Park is a protected park and a historical heritage site of São Paulo. In addition to offering a wide range of cultural attractions, the park is also ideal for physical activities and stands out for its convenient and central location.





Aristóteles Orsini Planetarium

The Aristóteles Orsini Planetarium is located inside Ibirapuera Park and offers a program of projections that simulate the star-filled night sky of São Paulo, present the planets of the Solar System, and include special sessions for children. Its structure draws attention from park visitors due to its dome-shaped architecture, approximately 9 meters high.
